What works today in the beta builder
Everything in the free CV builder you can use right now, and the rough edges we know about.
What you can do today
- Build or import your CV. Start blank, or upload a PDF or Word file and the sections are filled in for you.
- Keep one master CV. Everything you have done lives in one place. Each version shows only what you tick.
- Tailor it to a job. Paste the advert to see which keywords you cover and which are missing, then save a new version.
- Check it. Content, format and best-practice checks, each a clear pass or fail with a fix.
- Write the cover letter. Drafted from your CV and the advert, in the same design.
- Download or share. Real A4 PDF and Word files, a plain layout for screening software, and a share link or QR code.
- Track every application. From saved to offer, with the CV version you sent and when to follow up.
Rough edges we know about
- Your CV lives in one browser. It does not sync between devices yet. Download a backup from Export now and then.
- Job match is simple. It compares words, so it can flag names or everyday words as missing. Use it as a guide, not a verdict.
- Imports may need tidying. Unusual layouts, tables and columns do not always come through cleanly.
