Verification and validation
Backing up what your CV says, and letting employers check it is genuine and up to date.
Two different things
- Verification means backing up a claim on your CV, for example a qualification confirmed by whoever issued it.
- Validation means an employer can check that a CV or ID is genuine and is the latest version.
Where it stands today
Neither is live. Everything in the builder is self-declared: nobody has checked it, and we do not say otherwise.
What comes next
We are exploring how this could work in a way that is fair to candidates and useful to employers. It is the furthest away of the features here, and the plan may change as we learn.
